The guys at Unit 23 Skatepark in Dumbarton, Scotland have been hard at work over the winter rebuilding Hall 2. Check what it has to offer now that it is complete and open to ride!
Unit 23 Skatepark in Dumbarton, Scotland, has been going strong since 2002 and has become an important part of the Scottish BMX scene. The guys there are always keen to keep the park fresh making regular alterations to introduce new and challenging ramps to ride, but the last few months has seen one of the biggest overhauls of the park since it opened. With the financial support that Nike 6.0 provided to help make the park alterations, Dave Sowerby was tasked with designing a new layout for Hall 2 in the park. The plan was to keep two of the main ramps already in place in the hall, the mini ramp bowl and huge rail bank, and then design a new ramp layout around these to make the most of the space.
With a wild new design in place the guys at Unit23 then got to work making this vision a reality over November and December last year. The changes to the hall are now complete and ready to ride and add to what was already an amazing park. Check out the photos below to see the new ramp features and some riding shots from the park too.
